Here is a little storyline of Maddie's first days of kinder. She absolutely loves going to school, and after the 3rd day, I think I may be getting used to the idea of my baby being gone every day. It really helps to know that she wants to be there and she always has a huge smile on her face when I pick her up. Who knows how long that will last, but I will take it while I can. I am so thankful that the first couple days went as smoothly as they did (day 2 was pretty rough on my) because I have a feeling that next year when I have 2 going to school...things are going to get crazy. I can see Mason knowing the principal very well...but hopefully I am wrong!
I still can't believe that little Maddie is big enough to be going to school!!!
*by the way...her school mascott is the maverick...that is not at all her nickname!*
Fixing to leave to go "meet the teacher"...Mrs. Johnson.
We really liked Mrs. Johnson and think Maddie is going to have a fantastic year!
Outside of her classroom. The reason "Sea" is spelled "Seay" is because her schools name is Arlon Seay (pronounced like the ocean). Creative if you know that info...kinda strange looking if you dont!
she did NOT want to wake up early...I had to carry dead weight out of bed, put her on the couch...and she fell right back asleep....but...once she realized where she was going she snapped out of it!
Just got dressed...still a little sleepy...
The other kids were really mad at me for waking them up too...they dont understand why we ALL have to get up for Maddie! I got some pretty nasty looks from the littlest one...
This seemed to be her pose... (holding her lunchbox like that)
Finally got her to put it down!
My big girl...twirling her hair as she walks down the halls on the first day. She didnt want to walk with me though.
This is right before she told me that I could leave. Didnt want me to stay with her until her teacher came.
Mase didnt mind too much that Maddie started school...he got a yummy lunch at Freddy's!
Maddie's quote..."Day 2 gets 2 thumbs up!"
I had to throw this pic in...she looked so darn cute reading her duck book with daddy. She loves that book!
